Future Chefs

Future Chefs works with young people between the ages of 16 and 24 who are enrolled in vocational and comprehensive high schools and are interest in exploring and preparing for culinary and related careers. The program operates out of a teaching kitchen in Boston's South End as well as in vocational high schools in greater Boston. Annually, between seventy and one hundred students are served by the program. Students in internships that are paid by Future Chefs, rather than the restaurants or institutions where they are interns, will be hired as part-time, temporary employees for their eight-week internship placement.
