We’re thrilled to announce that Edwith Théogène has joined TSNE as our first Director of Policy & Advocacy. With over a decade of experience in policy and advocacy, Edwith brings strategic expertise in coalition building, legislative strategy, and advancing equity-centered systemic change.
Throughout her career, Edwith has championed policy solutions that elevate marginalized voices and strengthen the nonprofit sector. As Director of Racial Equity and Justice Policy at the Center for American Progress, she built cross-sector coalitions and led policy strategy on educational equity, the racial wealth gap, and multiracial governance. Previously, she advanced reproductive rights legislation at the Center for Reproductive Rights and developed national organizing programs at the Feminist Majority Foundation, mobilizing networks of advocates and student leaders.
In her role at TSNE, Edwith will lead efforts to elevate the voice and influence of the nonprofit sector within state, regional, and national policy ecosystems, guiding advocacy strategy and strengthening partnerships that advance equity and justice.
“I’m thrilled to join TSNE at a moment when the nonprofit sector needs someone focused on building the infrastructure that enables all organizations to succeed,” Edwith shared. “My years in policy advocacy have shown me that the most transformative work happens when we shift from fighting individual battles to constructing the systems that protect and empower our entire sector. I’m excited to bring that strategic, long-term vision to TSNE’s mission.”
Please join us in welcoming Edwith to the TSNE team!
