About the Series
TSNE’s Better Nonprofit Management Training series provides the opportunity for nonprofit professionals limited in time and financial resources to build their skills and knowledge. Our affordable, virtual, and in-person training series is offered by nationally and internationally recognized trainers and has helped more than 3,000 people from more than 1,200 organizations.
We draw a diverse and dynamic mix of nonprofit participants to our workshops that aid in managing mission-based organizations. Executive directors, managers, staff, board members, and volunteers have attended our interactive sessions led by recognized experts in their field.

Our wide variety of trainings are relevant to nonprofit staff of all levels and have given leaders the opportunities to develop their skills on various topics such as:

Are there ID requirements?
You will need valid identification to check in with security at the building’s front desk.
Can I register other attendees for a training?
You can register up to 5 colleagues or employees from one organization for each training. However, we ask for important demographic information and dietary restrictions from each attendee. Please make sure each attendee fills out this info prior to the training.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, we will have a list of attendees when you arrive to the NonProfit Center.
Do you offer certificates of completion?
Yes, participants can receive a certificate of completion upon request. Please email us at email@example.com and allow 2-3 business days to process your request.
Do you offer site-specific or on-site training?
We offer customized and on-site training for interested organizations on specific topics. Use our inquiry form to ask about customized, on-site training.
How can I get a discount?
Discounts are offered to:
- TSNE’s fiscally sponsored organizations

How can I register for your training opportunities?
Everything can be registered through our website and Eventbrite.
What is the maximum number of attendees from our organization that can attend a training?
We limit groups and organizations to 5 seats per workshop. If you would like to have more people take one of our workshops, email email@example.com to learn about customized training offerings.
What is the refund policy?
Cancellations must be made via email at least 10 business days prior to the date of the workshop in order to receive a refund (less a $15 processing fee). Email firstname.lastname@example.org should you need to cancel your registration.
When do the workshops occur?
Our training series starts in the early fall and runs through the early summer. Please note the specific times of the workshop(s) you have registered for.
Where are your in-person workshops located?
Unless otherwise noted, all in-person workshops are held at TSNE’s NonProfit Center, conveniently located in Downtown Boston at 89 South Street, Boston 02111, near public transportation. All virtual workshops are held online. You will need a computer and Zoom software to attend.
Will I receive copies of the materials presented at each training?
Yes, we will email you copies of presentation materials that are made available at the discretion of the trainer.
