Brianna Carr is a seasoned nonprofit leader with over twelve years of experience in community-based organizations, with a particular focus on the arts, education, and social justice sectors. Throughout her career, Brianna has excelled in various executive roles, including serving as both an Executive Director and Development Director, where she demonstrated a deep commitment to building organizational capacity and fostering community engagement.
In her most recent role as the Movement Builder Specialist at Operation Restoration, a social justice organization, Brianna supported a diverse portfolio of 30 national and international partners, helping them enhance their sustainability and strengthen their impact. Her expertise in capacity building ranged from managing budgets as small as $5,000 to as large as $4.2 million, with an emphasis on providing education, resources, and networks to help organizations thrive and advance their missions. A passionate advocate for equity and justice, Brianna has dedicated much of her work to empowering executive directors and frontline leaders who are doing direct service work. She is deeply committed to creating supportive environments that foster growth and long-term sustainability for social justice organizations. In addition to her professional work, Brianna is actively involved in the nonprofit community. She serves on the boards of the PFLAG New Orleans Chapter and the Association of Fundraising Professionals, where she continues to contribute her expertise and leadership to drive meaningful change.
