Midori Morikawa

Head of Corporate Citizenship, Managing Director
State Street Corporation

Midori Morikawa currently serves as the Head of Corporate Citizenship, Managing Director at State Street Corporation, where she oversees $25 million in grant-making strategy, execution, and operations, as well as initiatives to ensure State Street employees are engaged globally through volunteerism and matching gift programs.

Midori has over 18 years of experience in nonprofit and government sectors focused on strategic planning, program development, and social impact. In her previous role as the Deputy Chief of Economic Development at the City of Boston, she oversaw equitable economic recovery during COVID for Boston’s neighborhoods and small businesses. Midori led a variety of initiatives and policies to ensure Boston as a more appealing and accessible city that fosters economic inclusion and broadens opportunity. Before joining the city government, Midori worked at Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD) and YWCA Boston.
