TSNE Introduces Our New Chief Program and Impact Officer Michael Ibrahim

TSNE is excited to announce Michael Ibrahim as our first Chief Program and Impact Officer! In this new role, Michael will guide the growth of TSNE’s programs and services for the nonprofit sector and build a platform of programs to meet the current and future needs of the sector in the years ahead with a focus on equity and excellence.

“It is an honor to join TSNE to help drive the critical impact nonprofits need right now in tackling concurrent public health and equity crises,” said Michael. “Helping organizations build capacity to achieve mission effectiveness is something TSNE has excelled at for many years, and I’m thrilled to contribute to the work.”

Michael joins TSNE after many years as the Cultural Investment Portfolio Manager at the Massachusetts Cultural Council where he led grantmaking and the Council’s Advisory Services and Capacity Building Initiatives for arts, humanities, and science organizations across the Commonwealth. Michael has published works and presented nationally on organizational development, strategic planning, philanthropy, capitalization, evaluation, and EDI strategies with the goal of driving social and cultural impact. He holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Education Leadership Management from Northeastern University, an M.A. in Arts Administration from Boston University, a Graduate Certificate in Fundraising Management from Boston University, and a B.A. in Arts Administration from the University of Kentucky.

As a nonprofit management support and capacity-building organization for more than 60 years, TSNE continually assesses our services to ensure success, impact, and sustainability. Michael’s experience with creating programmatic change for organizations through evaluation, learning, and strategy will be an invaluable addition to the TSNE team. The past few years have shown that we must focus on intentional and equitable change in order to meet the needs of the sector, and we look forward to Michael’s leadership as TSNE continues to evolve to meet these needs.
