We’re pleased to announce that Faisal Abid, TSNE’s director of property services, has joined the Steering Committee of the Nonprofit Centers Network (NCN). The NCN started in the 2000s as a small convening of nonprofit center operators and has grown into a thriving peer learning community for owners and operators of nonprofit spaces across North America. Members of the NCN Steering Committee represent different components of the social purpose real estate world.
“I am thrilled to have joined the Steering Committee of the Nonprofit Centers Network. Having been a member for the past 12 years or so, I’ve seen the impact this organization has had across the US and Canada as a thought partner to so many meaningful nonprofit and community-based spaces,” said Faisal. “With the renewed energy around creating more such spaces, I look forward to working with NCN to further strengthen our sector’s, and our stakeholders’, access to well-maintained space.”
Faisal and his team have been expanding TSNE’s mission-focused property management and consulting services across the Boston area. We are the only nonprofit offering comprehensive property management service, providing both tenant and facilities management, while also committing to being a trusted partner dedicated to helping people, communities, and organizations thrive.
TSNE has been one of the longest-standing members of the NCN, dating back to when we opened the NonProfit Center of Boston in 2004. At the time of its opening, the downtown Boston space was the only multi-tenant office building in Massachusetts that specifically served 501(c)(3) organizations. Nowadays, it houses more than 50 organizations and offers affordable, professional-managed office, shared workspace, and event space for nonprofits.
