Community Votes partners with community-based social service organizations to conduct nonpartisan voter mobilization so more underrepresented citizens participate in our democracy.
Their approach to voter engagement is practical, grassroots and cost-effective. They understand that many community-based service organizations work directly with citizens who traditionally don’t exercise their right to vote and are uniquely positioned to reach into some of the city’s poorest communities to turn more citizens into voters.
In neighborhoods across New York City, Community Votes is helping social service agencies turn move citizens into voters. Community Votes was formed to help nonprofits register and educate voters.
